Is it worth going inside the Statue of Liberty?
I definitely think that the Pedestal at the Statue of Liberty is worth the money spent and the 215 steps up. The museum is really informative and details the history of the making of Lady Liberty. It’s definitely a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone.
Keep in mind that the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island are two different attractions, so you’ll need to factor in travel time between the two if you’re planning on visiting both. At a minimum, you should budget two hours for the Statue of Liberty and an additional hour if you plan to visit Ellis Island as well. Keep in mind that there may be lines and crowds, so factor in some extra time to account for that. And finally, don’t forget to enjoy the experience!

The best time to see the statue is first thing in the morning. Security will usually open around 8:15 so it’s best to be in line before then.
